[Bug 1626893] [NEW] Spell check does not change misspelled words

[Bug 1626883] [NEW] libssl 1.0.2g-1ubuntu4.4 causes PHP7 SSL cert validation to segfault

[Bug 1626869] [NEW] Installer crashed when installing 16.04.1 with a USB stick.
Public bug reported: [Steps to Reproduce] 1. Download 16.04.1 image. Use Ubuntu default "Startup Disk Creator" to create a live USB. 2. Use this USB stick to boot into the live system. (UEFI secure boot mode is on. Select "Try it without installation"[1]) 3. Installing the system by all default values for language, time zone ...etc. (partition management is "Erase the system and install 16.04.1") 4. Key in all entries required by Ubiquity prompt. Ubiquity began to install the system. [1] Select "Install Directly" could reproduce this issue as well. [Expected Result] The system was installed and prompted "The installation is completed" and reboot request. [Actual Result] Ubiquity prompts "Installer crashed". Then go to the live desktop. Issue the command "ubuntu-bug ubiquity" to collect crashed report as the attachment 201508-19025.ubiquity.log. [Bug 1625940] Re: CIFS client: access problems after updating to kernel 4.4.0-38-generic
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1626112 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1626112 the fix of bug #1626112 does not resolve this problem automount gets the wrong UID, so it does not work if I mount manually with the correct uid= parameter it works as expected (also with the other kernels where bug 1626112 was present) There is no DFS so i guess this bug has nothing to do with bug 1626112 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1625940 Title: CIFS client: access problems after updating to kernel 4.4.0-38-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1625940/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1626848] [NEW] flash-kernel postrm.d script fails on kernel removal
Public bug reported: Context: livecd-rootfs build for ARM64 ubuntu images using the linux- generic kernel What changed: linux-image-generic-extra-* came into being and now linux- image-generic-* depends on it. When removed the zz-flash-kernel hook for the kernel runs twice (postinst.d and postrm.d) What happened: - Creating a container image (LXD, ...) livecd-rootfs starts with a server image with a kernel and removes the kernel. - The kernel postinst.d hook for flash-kernel (zz-flash-kernel) runs twice now (first for postinst and then for postrm). On the second call there is no kernel installed and flash-kernel does not handle being called with no kernel present; the kernel removal operation fails at this point. Looking for a solution where zz-flash-kernel/flash-kernel is tolerant of this behavior such that kernel removal is possible. ** Affects: flash-kernel (Ubuntu) Importance: Critical Status: New ** Attachment added: "arm64_livecd-rootfs_flash-kernel.failure" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1626848/+attachment/4746704/+files/arm64_livecd-rootfs_flash-kernel.failure -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1626848 Title: flash-kernel postrm.d script fails on kernel removal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/flash-kernel/+bug/1626848/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
