[Bug 1644806] Re: Proposed shim package will cause system complain "Failed to set MokSBStateRT: (2) Invalid Parameter"
This issue is caused by the Dell machines have already embedded the MokSBStatesRT variable with EFI_VARIABLE_NON_VOLATILE attribute, and the new shim-signed 1.21.4 include the patch which will mirror the MokSBStatesRT when MokSBState exists, see the https://github.com/rhinstaller/shim/commit/8f1bd605d05077a76502de5510cc937c4f4c62dd, and it causes the setvariable MokSBStatesRT failed because it has already existed with different attribute. [Bug 1638517] Re: Mir-backed InputDeviceModel doesn’t work on touch device
Nice catch Lorn! This is a nasty one. I would have expected that the value of the count property would be updated *before* the countChanged signal is emitted, regardless of the name of the parameter of the signal. So I just verified that if I do that, this works: import QtQuick 2.4 import QtSystemInfo 5.5 Item { InputDeviceModel { filter: InputInfo.Keyboard onCountChanged: console.log("keyboard count:", devices) } } However I’m wary of using that just yet, in case you decide to change the name of the parameter to 'count', my code would break. Please let me know if you plan to do so, and I’ll just hold off. Also, the warning about object ownership and threads is still present. I think it should be investigated, as it’s usually a good indicator that something is not architected correctly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1638517 Title: Mir-backed InputDeviceModel doesn’t work on touch device To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qtsystems-opensource-src/+bug/1638517/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1638836] Re: resolv.conf for resolved stub server should have a comment how to see the actual servers
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/foundations-y-local- resolver has the two outstanding issues to switch NM over to resolved too. These are unblocked now: the new resolved DNS plugin is in upstream master since around September, and NM 1.4 landed in zesty-proposed yesterday. Let's land that first, then backport the DNS plugin and switch it over, then we'll consistently use resolved everywhere and that comment will be much easier to write. [Bug 1520979] Re: Grub multiboot is unable to load Xen under EFI
What part of this is "fixed"? Anyways, xen can apparently support efi-booting as a efi executable directly, but for some reason ubuntu doesn't ship the "xen.efi" (see https://wiki.xenproject.org/wiki/Xen_EFI)? [Bug 1645555] [NEW] Dropbear initramfs hook creates authorized_keys file in an invalid folder
Public bug reported: Dropbear initramfs hook copies `/etc/initramfs- tools/root/.ssh/authorized_keys` into initramfs for passwordless login during boot. The script responsible is `/usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/dropbear`. The destination folder is set at line 37: `home=$(mktemp -d "$DESTDIR/root-XX")` which ends up creating a temp directory in initramfs file, similar to `/root-hZQ48a`, instead of `/root`. See the contents of a generated initrd with: `cd `mktemp -d` && gzip -dc /boot/initrd.img-`uname -r` | cpio -ivd` Setting the $home variable with the following lines should solve the issue: ``` home="$DESTDIR/root" mkdir -p $home ``` ** Affects: dropbear (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/164 Title: Dropbear initramfs hook creates authorized_keys file in an invalid folder To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dropbear/+bug/164/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1641549] Re: migrate lxc android container to lxd
** Description changed: Several things to do here: * include lxd, lxd-client in default installation, * writable path for lxd: lxd resides at /var/lib/lxd and it takes write permission to fully function, * migrate lxc tmpfs-based rootfs to lxd image, lxc configs to lxd profiles, etc., * migrate systemd service definitions, etc. [Steps to reproduce current setup] 0. rebuild avila kernel with additional patches from https://code.launchpad.net/~vicamo/avila/+git/kernel-3.10/+merge/310849 , or just use the prebuilt one in the attachments. 1. follow bug 1641505 and https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices- system-image/+bug/1641505/comments/2 to enable adbd emergency mode and disable current lxc-based android container. 2. add /var/lib/lxd to writable paths, install lxd and lxd-client, and then reboot the device so that writable path may take effect. 3. initialize lxd. This can take a while (2 minutes for me). $ sudo lxd init --auto - 4. run lxd image create script to create the android lxd image. - - $ ./lxd-image-create.sh - - 5. create an ephemeral container for debug: - - $ lxc init -e -p android android armhf - $ lxc start armhf + 4. apply changes from https://code.launchpad.net/~vicamo/lxc-android- + config/lxd-migration/+merge/311103 . [Bug 1638517] Re: Mir-backed InputDeviceModel doesn’t work on touch device
@osomon The reason you are seeing this not work correctly, is because the value for countChanged signal is named 'devices' in the declarative class, and not 'count' like what is in the base class and that you are using in your qml example.
