qtmir always destroys a window if it doesn't do so itself after being
requested to close.
Specially on desktop, requesting a window to close doesn't necessarily
mean it should destroy itself. It's a common idiom for an application to
just hide it instead, so it can be reused next time it's needed

I had the same problem with kernel 4.8.0-42. Lubuntu 16.04

Yes, float gu. The reason for that is restoring windows on a display
with different density. If we recall a window from GU=8 on a GU=16
screen, it will not be what you wanted.
In this scenario apps get told what size (and scale) they are, not the
other way around.

Hi, I have a local "dummy" DNS server on my router which registers DHCP
clients with the hostnames that they have. But resolving these hostnames
doesn't work on zesty unless fqdn is used, otherwise there's a timeout
that says:

I don't think I'm using the Nvidia drivers on the machine I reported this
from. That would mean they could not be the route cause.

I've applied the udev rules change and it doesn't seem to make a
