It seems this has somehow reappeared.
Starting from recently, at random times Xorg starts to consume 100% or
more cpu and at the same time at-spi2-registryd consumes more than 50%.
Killing at-spis-registryd (which I have no idea whether it's a safe
thing to do) also makes Xorg cpu consumption go
Exact same issue here, recently done dist-upgrade from 14.04 LTS to
16.04, I did not have this problem at all before. Not running on VM.

I am using Qt 5.8.0 and QtCreator 4.2.1 on Nvidia 375.39-0ubuntu0.16.04.1
Qt Creator failed with following message.

I locked and unlocked once without a problem, the second time it froze
on me. Had to reboot the PC.

and golang-src. And I will end up with a go 1.7 executable on the path.

There is no such thing as "mouse speed". There is mouse "sensitivity"
and "acceleration".

I am unable to achieve acceptable results with all the different knobs
that are available. If I tune down acceleration, I am able to do
detailed pointing, but the stick is generally so slow, that it takes
