backup" (as opposed to an incremental backup), not the actual first
backup of your documents.
You can force a full backup by backing up to a new location, e.g. a
different folder on the server/disk that you are backing up to.

Resuming from suspend requires no password.
Perhaps because we don't use gdm?
Test case:
1. Click the power menu
2. Hold down Alt so the power button changes to a pause button.
3. Click it to suspend the system
4. Wake the system
