While updating packages I can see this happening for a second when the
operation finishes. The decorations (font and icons in particular)
become weird, like if something was broken. See the screenshot to better
understand what I mean.

Adding the local recursive name server to
/etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/base (see comment #34) solved the problem
of having an unusable /etc/resolv.conf at the time postfix copies it
during boot. Together with restarting postfix whenever /etc/resov.conf
changes solves my problems.

this package should be removed from Ubuntu, it was only ever uploaded to
Ubuntu, before Debian had the package
"https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sugar-log-activity;, which has
been in Ubuntu since Xenial.
