binutils version in -release and -proposed, and when perf is built
against the version in -release then run against the version in

I tested gnome-software 3.20.5-0ubuntu0.16.04.5 on a fresh installation
of xenial and executed the test plan linked in the description. I didn't

Hmm, it seems I made it possible to downgrade errors to warnings
(untrusted to weak) in the gpgv verification, but never in the other
code part.

I experienced this bug in Lubuntu 16.04, and found it made Abiword
unusable. I recently installed Lubuntu 17.04 on a different computer and
was disappointed to discover the bug is still present with my fresh
installation!
That said, I'm not 100% sure my bug is the same as what is reported here.
There were a lot of changes since 1.2.7, and no further updates here, so
I assume the bug has been fixed, or it was just a connectivity issue
after all. If anything changes, reopen the bug or open a new one.
