Ok, the difference on i2c-designware between 4.10 and 4.13 are quite huge, it's not a good idea to backport those commits back to 4.10, it's quite likely to cause regression. So I think you should use 4.13 at the moment, and upgrade to Artful (17.10) when it's released. -- You received this bug
