Testing with 4.14-rc5 I can enter hybrid-sleep with low memory usage but
the system hangs after blanking the screen and displaying "Snapshotting
system". In this case there are no log entries for the failure, ie the
journal is truncated after initiating hybrid-sleep and then

The bug I found is this, I suspend the machine, and when I wake it up,
the display doesn't work correctly or doesn't display the video or
things correctly. It looks like if I hadn't the display driver in that
moment. It looks like with a wrong resolution, a lower resolution,
I feel this is one of the areas that was improved in Gnome 3.26. So I
suggest waiting a day or so and then Ubuntu 17.10 will be officially
released. Download 17.10, and boot up a live session. Does the bug still

Had this problem after installing Ubuntu Budgie ISO 20171017.1 (auto-
