Perhaps because the lock screen turns off the screen rather quickly,
people don't notice the clock. Or people know it's there but don't
consider it a usable clock if the screen is off. :)

I can see your problem is that you have Natural Scrolling = ON for
Mouse, but it needs to be enabled separately for your touchpad.
If Ubuntu is working properly you would have a separate switch for

I don't get any of that information. Even tried "--dump-opengl-details"

Just tried env LIBGL_SHOW_FPS=1 though, and it agrees with Stellarium
and prints "FPS = 60.0". But what I see on screen is not 60Hz. It's
stuttery like 30Hz/20Hz/15Hz.

Since upgrading to Xubuntu 17.10, this plugin does not show the real
time current frequency, but is locked at (for me) 2.60GHz.
I poked around the source, and the /sys paths that the plugin uses
(specifically "/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu%i/cpufreq/scaling_cur_freq")

result. I suspect that the problem is in incorrect installation of the

I have recently installed a Manjaro machine and installed this from
source as it's not in the Manjaro repositories. The code for autotrash
has been changed and improved. As a result, this bug is no longer an
issue with the latest version. To fix and improve this, the source just
