Ubuntu 17.10 uses linux kernel 4.13 witch has a problem with the fallback
cipher for CTR mode. The commit bellow fixes this problem by using the new

Seems that s390x ADT does now run in VMs, which explains the change.
Since we don't have wireless support in our s390x kernels, these
failures are expected. Seems the tests will need to be changed to skip

The result is below.
The issue is that the cloud-init spawned temporary dhclient is still around.
It should not be terribly harmful as its script is /bin/true so it wont

gnome-shell. This problem was most recently seen with package version
3.26.1-0ubuntu5, the problem page
It happens that the match was no good, and we replaced it with a grep
for the source that we uploaded for xenial. For some reason, we forgot
about trusty, so I am applying the same fix we added in xenial which
explains why linux-4.4.0-101-generic didn't hit the issue.

I confirm that the test kernel fixes the issue. I was able to assign
intel e1000e card to the guest machine and shutdown properly without
observing any errors on the host OS.

posted. I can't write the gid map until I've written deny to
/prod/$pid/setgroups, not the other way around. There might be some
nuance I've missed.
Also, newgidmap will allow a user to map their own GID to 0 in the user

I was told that this issue is due to a mis-configuration where if end to end
MTU isn't set correctly then you will see this problem. So as long as the user

The bisect must have gone wrong. It might not be possible to perform a
bisect in this case. I think what would be best is to post all the HW
info into the bug. Then I can review the commits between
Ubuntu-4.0.0-4.7 and Ubuntu-4.1.0-3.3 to see what could be relevant.
Can you run the following

The snap for dragonboard-kernel hasn't been built yet because of an
issue with the firmware package. The problem has been solved and we
should have a new package on the archive early next week. I will build
the snap when the package becomes available.
