yes it is taken care of.
In Packaging there are source and binary packages.
When we say "we update X" we mean we upload a new src:X
But from your consumption point of view you use binary packages (that is what
you install).
And src:open-vm-tools creates open-vm-tools-dev,

My computer is a Dell laptop, Inspiron, 7559
Intel Core i5-6300HQ
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 4GB Graphics
256GB SSD
8GB RAM
I used the boot options:
i915.preliminary_hw+support=1
nouveau.modeset=0
With these two options, I can boot and try Ubuntu, but still unable to install.
It little bit hard to distinguish active tab from inactive tabs in
Nautilus.
For example, in Adwaita theme, current tab underlined with theme
selection color and clearly visible. Please add such pronounce in
Ambiance/Radiance.

It is 2018 year. A ridiculous bug with NumLock is still present in a fresh
installation of 14.04 LTS.
4 years no one can fix the bug, is it for real?

With plasma session kde 18.04 beta 1, I start the application ktimer
with the rules (for the windows and the application) "minimize", "ignore
the task bar", "ignore the desktop" & "ignore the task selector" at
"YES" for lunching.
This rules can be defined with config system
If you use "linux-generic-hwe-16.04/xenial-proposed 4.13.0.38.57", which
is the same kernel used in Artful, and doesn't see this issue, then you
can add "verification-needed-artful" tag.
