If someone has no snaps installed when they shut down a system, are they
expected to have the same amount of snaps (0) on the next startup?
One thing that could be explored, if possible, is to not start the snapd
daemon at all on boots after that (disabling the service) and if snaps

I had the same issue with Ubuntu 18.40 (final Beta) and HP EliteBook 850
G5 and reported the bug 1762814 and the solution (or rather workaround)
for me was to blacklist amdgpu and this gnome shell crash, all the boot
errors and suspend issues were gone.

I don't see how this is a bug in ffmpeg. The feature request linked in
this bug report is asking for a workaround for a buggy kernel driver
which will not fix the underlying issue, and isn't going to fix any
other programs using the webcam anyway.

I have a problem with the library too. My conflict is with spotify-client and
hosty.
Spotify-client requires libcurl3, and installing it uninstalls curl, which is
required to run hosty.

We're carrying a couple SAUCE patches for the hisi_sas driver to enable
hip08 SoC support. Alternative patches have since landed upstream, which
are more complete, and will be a better basis for backporting future
patches to this driver.

On inspection of apport-collect output, it doesn't appear to filter out
serial numbers or SSIDs, so I can't submit it. Also, it seems to have
left out any of the logs where the tracebacks mentioned above were
included; I'll add at least a useful chunk of kern.log surrounding the

I believe there is a ksv2 regression in the dev ppa of simplestreams,
but I can also confirm that the ksv3 scenario is resolved with the dev
ppa.

Removing the scsi_mod.use_blk_mq=1 from /etc/default/grub and the
mentioned udev rule file, and regenerating initial ramdisk + reboot
seems to do the trick, now everything works with default (cfq) I/O
scheduler.
Before this comment, and the problem:
