I just ran into the same bug (Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS, fully updated at time
of the comment).
I've played with cmd arguments a little and it seems that the bug is
triggered at some length of the vnc socket path.
This is running okay:
$ qemu-system-x86_64 -enable-kvm -vnc unix:./service/vnc-sock
Also
The issue started with the first upgrade from kernel 4.15.0-13.
With kernel 4.15.0-13 bluetooth is working.
With every other after - included 4.17-rc1 (test done) - bluetooth is
disabled.

I observe the same behavior with Nemo 3.6.5-1 amd64, Ubuntu 18.04, GNOME
3.28.1, theme Adwaita (default).
When I write this it makes me think to change the theme: bingo! the renaming
selection is normal with Ambiance or Radiance.

winbindd somewhere does change its uid to the target uid to create the users
kerberos cache.
If keytab method contains system keytab (it does in my configuration), in
