I had initially a full instalation of Windows 10, with the UEFI partition
in FAT32. Then I deleted a 700 GB partition in the right area of the disk
that i used as data partition for installing Ubuntu which i flashed with
Rufus.
I ended up reformating all the disk and deleting windows for a future

Seriously guys, this isn't that hard to fix.
A change can be made to the theming structure so that all GTK+ config files in
each snap directory are linked to the user's to honor the theme. It doesn't
even require each snap to be written differently. Just put it in the guidelines

motherboard for an ASUS X470 prime pro. It is present permanently on microphone

That worked. I now can see the login screen.Now if I could only get to
motion sensors to learn the difference between landscape and portrait. It
boots up sideways and I have to tip the laptop on its side and open the
setting drop down and lock the rotation. Once it is locked I am good to
go.

Yeah.
After installing apport-collect, when I try to run it:
ERROR: Could not import module, is a package upgrade in progress?
Error: No module named PyQt5.QtCore
This is a 2-3 year old bug... it's still not fixed... should I have any
hope for my bug ? :-)))

My current workaround is to remove the redirection of
/usr/lib/dkms/dkms_autoinstaller's stdout to /dev/null in
/etc/kernel/header_postinst.d/dkms. This may even be the correct fix:
it's a little noisier, but not unacceptably so and it's definitely
better than a hung installation.
