So the issue lies within the _read_twice() in test-kernel-security.py
script.
The first attempt to cat /proc/self/stack will return 0, as it's reading the
file as root.
The second attempt will failed with "permission denied" as we're not allowing

been implemented, so seccomp filtering does not exist. I'll fix stress-

Hi Richud,
while the bug here was a special case with the wily type being used in Xenial
and therefore to be retained until the EOL of xenial has passed.
It is different for other machine types like the ones you see issues with atm.
Keeping the old types "almost forever" is a common habit as
Thunar (1.6.15) is also affected now. Without the fix Thunar was able to
delete empty and non-empty directories. Now it cannot delete ANY
directory too. :(

Ok, I did further testing and the fix made things even worse!
(I used two - apart from this new samba version - identical VMs to verify the
behavior.)
Before the fix I was not able to delete non-empty directories.
With installed fix I'm not able to delete ANY directory - regardless of content!

desktop) in Debian testing last month. Stop opening cbr files but still
opening cbz files. It's a problem with mime types.

Backstory: The discrete touchpad enable/disable switch does not work on

After upgrading to Ubuntu 18.10 from Ubuntu 18.04, when logging in my one of
my two external displays will not be activated without hotplugging the other
external display.

Same for me on Ubuntu 18.04 and GNOME Shell 3.28.3. I've got 2 input
methods on my machine, EN and RU. When locking the screen with last
window's language set to RU, I cannot log back in as password input
always uses RU language despite of the language toggler state in
password modal.
