Unexpected graybar on top of openstack-dashboard login page

The problem is when headset sound is being played and I open audacity.
For example: Plug headset, open kdenlive or youtube, put some video to play,
and then I open audacity.
The system sound becames mute. The volume controls doesn't affects and I have
to restart the ubuntu.

consecutive press will play one frame and then go
into pause mode again (any other key unpauses).
You forgot the step backwards key!!
One can step
This sounds like bug 1166529, but I am hesitant to mark any bug a
duplicate of that because if it's a port routing issue then that's
unique to the motherboard model and not unique to the sound chip.

Thanks for the bug report. The intermediate sound layer (PulseAudio)
hasn't changed between 18.10 and 19.04 so this is either going to be a
kernel problem or a GUI problem (gnome-control-center).
