I mis-named the file above- it should have been ttf-mscorefonts- installer. Version 3.7 from ubuntu repositories will not download the fonts. version 3.7 from the debian repositories will download successfully. Version 3.6 from ubuntu repositories also downloads the fonts successfully. -- You
