I know that glibc changed things in 2.31 but I thought that is in proposed
still.
I was working (I thought just for test/build issues) on an update in bug
1866753.
It does internal syscall filtering and that changed in glibc.
Out of that I already have PPA:
No i didn't enrolled a MOK key in the system.Infact I want not prompted
with any blue screen .I was a good and smooth install as it usually
is.But this error didn't occur the first time i boot up.But then second
time onwards it started to appear.

Please note that on a Dell laptop everything works as expected. The
difference most probably is caused by hardware in the laptop. Two
different modems do not work with Toshiba and both of them work with

cycles has the same low resolution and is displayed on gdm

I just verified that the updates to the kernel and zpcictl (s390-tools package)
in focal-proposed do show the correct (fixed) behavior. Thanks for the quick

FYI I pinged on the list as I see that "auto-detect other cpu types" not
linked to the submission I made. But OTOH we can't go ahead integrating
this in Ubuntu ahead of time while not accepted or we would risk to
diverge making things even worse ...
