Even if we did fix Plymouth to support rotation to landscape it might
still look a little wrong. Because the BIOS still displays its logo in
portrait mode, and then it would suddenly rotate to landscape at
Plymouth. That's not very much better than the current situation of the
rotation occuring at

I have used livecd-rootfs 2.620.2 from proposed to build ec2 and gce
images. EC2 currently has a mix of core and core18 based snaps while
GCE has only core18 based snaps. I confirmed that snapd was seeded when
core18 was the only core snap present. Boot testing each of these
images confirmed

Same issue here, consistently triggered by PhpStorm (it's an IDE similar
to PyCharm).

Hi Daniel,
A good thought. The machine is not suspended when this happens. I can
SSH to the machine, and the one log set I uploaded is when the screens
are blank.
Removing the monitors one at a time does not (usually) trigger the
problem.

packages for rpm 4.14.2.1+dfsg1-1build2
