I can verify that. The error is gone by upgrading pip to upstream

Looking at the source code of gnome-tweaks it is trying to set:
gsettings set org.gnome.mutter overlay-key 'Super_R'
which is a mistake. Because the correct setting to get it working is:
gsettings set org.gnome.mutter overlay-key 'menu'
So it's just a bug in gnome-tweaks.

Sorry! It's the touchpad. Scrolling using touchscreen also seem to cause
these things. Sometimes, it comes out of the hang on it's own. It goes to a
solid screen for a second and everything's fine again. Other times, I log
off and log on to make the cursor work.

It might not affect "standard" grub usage (e.g. Ubuntu) where it may not

I have the exact same bug on focal.
But it happens randomly to me, while my server is under load.
2 of the servers I migrated to focal have the same issue (not in the same DC),
so it excludes a hardware issue from ths particular machine.

We can't ask for a better result than the PulseAudio developers to offer
a direct fix against the original bug report. It hasn't landed upstream
yet though so please wait.
