unfortunatelly issue persist.
Only fix working for me is
I agree that it seems to miss an argument in the call from deploy-server-cert.
I have compared the versions up to the much more recent 3.5.2-1 but the
situation is the same.
Reproducing this doesn't need a lot of pre-setup:
$ apt install postfix ssl-cert
$ postfix tls deploy-server-cert
@TheTakylo: What is your OS and what is your kernel version ? Do you

Touchpad not recognized
Good news, i find the issue, the problem are the gnome extensions, back
up your .local/share/gnome-shell/ data and erase all your extensions,
restart the shell and try to lock screen (it works for me).
After, install one by one extensions and, for each, try lock screen

I thought /etc/mtab only exists for historical reasons.
And checking it shows:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 Okt 12 2018 /etc/mtab -> ../proc/self/mounts
This is true at least back to Xenial (which I checked).
And for compatibility reasons programs often use /etc/mtab but it is actually
the same.

Since it seems likely to me that this is a local configuration problem,
rather than a bug in Ubuntu, I'm marking this bug as Incomplete.

On my XPS 9370 the problem was only reproductible on 1 type of wireless
access point and only when the network SSID was set to use both the
2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands.
Configuring the access point to have different SSID for the 2.4Ghz and
5Ghz WIFI bands solved the issue.

Hi Vasant, the update process in Ubuntu prescribes that an update or patch must
first land in the current development release, which is currently groovy.
The next step is then to do a stable release update (or SRU) to the next older
version, which is focal in this case. (If it needs to be done
