Ubuntu server 20.04 and 18.04.4. When I installed them on virtual
machine (FreeNAS 11.3, VMware ESXi 6.7), installat
I fixed /etc/netplan/00-installer-config.yaml, I replaced "enp0s5" with
"enp0s4" and I rebooted virtual machine. Issue is fixed, it gets IP
address from DHCP server during server boot! So it looks like
"subiquity" just created wrong netplan configuration. So basic
configuration and it was not done
This is in file etc/netplan/00-installer-config.yaml (enp0s5 is
configured with DHCP4, but real NIC is enp0s4...)

Looking at the reverse-depends, cloudkitty, freezer and sahara do not
use pastescript. pastedeploy is pulling it in as a recommends. May be a
candidate for removal or at least drop the dependency from cloudkitty,
freezer, and sahara. Need to sync with debian on this as most of these
packages origin

Problem reproduces after a fresh install of Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with all

I'm running unison 2.48.4 on two hosts. One I just upgraded to 20.04.
The other is still at 18.04 LTS. The two unison instances no longer
talk happily together. The error is this:

Speaking of cloud-images generally I propose the following:
* Images in the ubuntu-cpc project by default should boot with an initramfs.
* Revert the livecd-rootfs change which "Unconditionally set
GRUB_FORCE_PARTUUID in cloud images"
* Images with custom kernels can boot without an initram

Ah ok got you. There is absolutely nothing in those logs, apart from the
normal messages. The log snippet below was produced by following the
repro steps above.
Out of curiosity, is this something that you are able to reproduce, or
is it just on my system?

If I connect the HDMI, keeps loading and loading
If I don't connect it, it works perfect.
Problem appeared in 20, was perfect in 18 and 19.

Ok Kai,
I modified grub options to select the kernel version. Now "uname -r"
output is: 5.4.0-34-generic
Touchpad is still not working. I run dmesg and udevadm again and attached the
logs on this message.

To add some additional information... I upgraded the BIOS of the machine
to the latest, plugged in the TB display and rebooted to -33. The fan
spun up and it didn't pass beyond C3. I unplugged the TB display and it
then progressed all the way to C7 so it appears to be a TB issue. Kai-

sudo dpkg -i each-.deb-file
However you are right, output of uname -r is: 5.6.15-050615-generic
