The new testing kernel -- 5.4.0-42.46 -- does work on my machine! Sound
works, mic works. One odd thing: with headphones plugged in, sound is

[SRU] rabbitmq-server does

I'm using "aptdcon --refresh" and "aptdcon --full-upgrade" to update my
system.
I'm getting the following informational message on every upgrade (twice
on start and twice on end):
debconf-kde-helper - KDialog
Configuration file "//.config/debconf-kde-helperrc" not writable.

When you print from Thunderbird the print dialog appears behind the main
Thunderbird window. Of course, it should appear in the front of Thunderbird.
You can reproduce it every time.
Mozilla developers say this window is a part of Ubuntu and NOT of Thunderbird.

Additional testing for ntpq authentication to ensure MD5 still works for
ntpq in archive
NOTE: The shown testing is ntpq(with patch) + openssl from archive. To ensure

The script responsible for updating the /boot/initrd.img symlink is
called `linux-update-symlinks`. If a kernel is installed without that
script being run, the symlink will not be updated.
The only place where `linux-update-symlinks` is run is inside each of
our kernels, in `debian/templates/image

I am arriving here as I would also like to run containers (docker) over
a zpool as the storage backend. In my case, I am running Ubuntu Server
(Focal) on a Pi 3B, I would ideally have root on zfs but with it being a
Pi, I have not done this yet. I have an externally attached USB pool for
