[Bug 1890062] Re: speed mismatch trying to attach xbox sensor to windows 10 guest vm
Hi, FYI the VMX warnings are correct and not related. I wanted to say that you need the right USB-Host but your found that yourself in comment #1. When the devices are really passed through then it is up to the guest to handle them. Once thing I could recommend - since USB can hot-plug - is attach/detach them from the guest. And while (after & before) doing so run something like devcon or usbview. See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/debugger/usbview https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/setupapi/nf-setupapi-setupdigetclassdevsw?redirectedfrom=MSDN https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/devtest/devcon e.g. "devcon hwids =usb" Is the USB3 controller showing up correctly at all (down at the bottom of your device manager)? If not the devices attached to it would be missing as well. ** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1890062 Title: speed mismatch trying to attach xbox sensor to windows 10 guest vm To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1890062/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Yes, this would need to be removal + sync blacklist for groovy, to be on the safe side (although it's unlikely that Debian would ever upload a new version). [Bug 1889735] Re: tap: use after free
** Description changed: [Impact] If the socket buffer array of a tap queue is full, a received package needs to be dropped. Currently, the check for the array being full is performed lockless, which might lead to use-after-free errors if the socket buffer array has been resized. [Test Case] TBD. [Regression Potential] The check for the array being full is simply dropped. In case the array is full, subsequent frame handling will fail and the frame is eventually dropped. A regression would manifest itself if the frame is not dropped - for whatever reason and inserted into the (ring) buffer, overwriting the - oldest frame in the buffer. + for whatever reason and inserted into the full (ring) buffer, + overwriting the oldest frame in the buffer. So we'd end up with + frame/packet loss. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1889735 Title: tap: use after free To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1889735/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1890231] Re: alsa: should not load sof driver if the internal mic connects to the codec
** Description changed: - This is for tracking purpose. + This issue was introduced by #1872916 ("Support Intel Soundwire + in 5.6-OEM Kernel 20.04"), so focal and groovy kernels don't need + this fix. + + [Impact] + We found the sof driver instead of hda driver is enabled on a dell + machine without soundwire and dmic. This will make gnome show dummy + output and users have no audio device to use. + + [Fix] + When we integrated fix for #1872916, we backported 2 patches, these + 2 patches enable the sof driver unconditionally for Dell comet lake + machines. There is an upstream patch to fix it, let the sof driver + enable conditionally on comet lake machines. + + [Test Case] + Boot the kernel with this patch on that dell machine, check the + gnome-control-center, all audio devices exist, playback and recording + work well. + + [Regression Risk] + On the Dell comet lake machines with dmic, the sof driver should + enable. Without this patch, the sof driver will enable unconditionally, + but with this patch, the sof driver will enable conditionally, so it + is possible to introduce a regression that on Dell comet machines, + the sof driver doesn't enable even the machine has dmic. + + I have tested this patch on a Dell comet lake dmic machines, it worked + well. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1890231 Title: alsa: should not load sof driver if the internal mic connects to the codec To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hwe-next/+bug/1890231/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1786246] Re: package clonezilla 3.27.16-2 failed to install/upgrade: installed clonezilla package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1
This still seems to be a problem. Tried installing clonezilla using Synaptic and got partially installed / failure errors on 20.04. Will post new bug so it attaches my system info. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1786246 Title: package clonezilla 3.27.16-2 failed to install/upgrade: installed clonezilla package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/clonezilla/+bug/1786246/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1885346] Re: gnome-shell-calendar-server leaks GBs of memory every few days
As requested in, I installed and ran gnome-shell 3.36.4-1ubuntu1~20.04.1, from focal proposed. I followed the steps that I previously was able to reproduce this issue with, and didn't see a similar memory-growth behavior (when looking at top). I hope this helps. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1885346 Title: gnome-shell-calendar-server leaks GBs of memory every few days To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1885346/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
