Just an addendum to my comment above. I would describe this as a serious
problem with a default install of XUbuntu. I spent two days trying to
work out why my Qt based app was not displaying certain unicode
characters (eg cheese wedge). It was just showing the white rectangle.

I have backed up this container and its snapshot for later and re-run
the whole automation which got me that bad state.
That allowed me to run my automation again without removing this

Just a small contribution from my side: the bug is not fixed despite all
the latest updates. I'm having a Quadro K5200 with proprietary drivers
v440.100 on Ubuntu 20.04 and both fractional scaling (on one monitor)
and normal/fractional scaling on multiple monitors with different
scaling are broken.
To be noted that this issue also exists in Debian 10 and Ubuntu 18.04.
Because they all has commit 781b3e5efc3 (tftp: Do not use priority
queue).

I just removed the old rar and unrar which is provided by apt/apt-get
and installed latest rar and unrar from their website extracted it and
install in /usr/local/bin/unrar. Works fine in terminal. But the file-
roller lose capability. Please provide a fix. As in terminal rar

which invoke block discard, such as mkfs and fstrim operations, to take
a very long time.
For example, on a i3.8xlarge instance
Well, some more information is needed before one can start to look at this more
deeply:
- What is the Ubuntu release where this happened?
- Was the system up-to-date?
- Which syslog was used?
- What is the version of the syslog package? (apt-cache policy )
- When did the last log rotation happened
A quick scan of the Launchpad bugs didn't brought up any bug that are
similar to this - not for focal, nor for any other Ubuntu release.
