working, no sound at all. However it works if I run alsamixer and unmute
the headphone. It's strange that the internal speaker is assumed as
headphone.

Spotted this on 4.15.0-1083.87, though the current version is
4.15.0-1084.88. All LTP tests failed on the current version and I'm re-
running the tests. Will report back verifying if this is still failing
on 4.15.0-1084.88.

For step 5 above I also sometimes deleted the app from chrome://apps and
re-created it.
SO the actual bug on this issue seems to be some discontinuity with my
old webapp definitions because I have been able to make them work again

This is a really ridiculous fix and algorithm, favoring high-memory
systems and neglecting the more common low-memory systems. I installed
Ubuntu 20.04 on a machine with this specs 12GB RAM and 240GB SSD, it
created just 1GB Swap partition. !!!

Please use the tool 'ppa-purge from the ppa-purge
