settings. I think aptdaemon, PackageKit are affected as well. It's not
possible to correctly reimplement apt proxy settings by reading

The dkms module declares a struct proc_ops that is not compatible with
the new 5.8 kernel, causing a build failure with proc_create().
Fix by adding a proper #ifdef block to support also kernels >= 5.8.
This change is required to properly support the new linux-hwe-5.8 kernel

seems that there is a problem with your hardware. I recommend
performing a back up and then investigating the situation. Measures you
might take include check
OK, I was wrong /dev/sda1 (and similar) is really not present. If I run
"partprobe /dev/sd*" things start behaving but that should in no way be
needed...

Same issue after latest nvidia drivers update (package linux-modules-
nvidia-450-generic-hwe-20.04 was removed).

Hi Team!
I recently ran into an issue with socat where it would not work with
`TCP6-LISTEN` and just throw 'Name of service not known` if the name to
be resolved starts with a digit.
For example:
/usr/bin/socat -x TCP-LISTEN:54323,fork TCP:1.example.com:80

I'm using smartmontools to check my drive every 30 minutes. It has an option to
don't check if the drive is standby. Can't they at least do the same?
And I had a question. Why does udisks checks smart data? Is it going to notify
me if there's a problem, or ... ?

gen). Whenever I go to http://localhost:631. I click on "Add Printer"
and the status bar indicates that the page is loading. Nothing else

Updating on my side:
When i update to nvidia 450 and reboot, my system starts to freeze.
Most of times i can't even really start the session and have to do a forced
reboot because nothing works, not even using CTRL+ALT+F2.
