Hi Rik, of course this is opinion. The prior decision to override the
KDE default was also driven by an opinion. However, I feel the team at
KDE have excellent UX designers these days, and as professional UX
designer as well, I agree with their assessment.

fwupd daemon failed verifying
The problem seems to be in libserf. If I install the 21.10 version of
libserf with dpkg from
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/s/serf/libserf-1-1_1.3.9-10_amd64.deb,
subversion starts working again.

I think you mean the new libx11 is useful in solving other bugs. This
bug should be about the log messages only, so it's low importance.
Although it's prevalent enough that people who read logs all day (me)

these have indeed been updated already.
I was working with Michael and others which were the reasons some here were
hard dependes and we have now for 22.04:
a) the dependencies from qemu-system-* to q-b-e are recommends now
b) we also include 15bf92b5 which allows qemu-utils to satisfy the

You should see on the serial console if the overlay is loaded twice:
Ubuntu 21.10 and 22.04 have exactly the same reported version of svn
(1.14.1) and the plugin that handles https, ra_serf (version 1.3.9).
However, 21.04 reports it was compiled on Feb 18 2021, while 22.04
reports it was compiled on Dec 3 2021.
