the rest applies as is and I have regenerated them to match the
packaging requirements. The backport-adaptations themselves are minimal.
From the content I guess it is complex enough that nobody can be fully sure.

When using geometry shaders in RViz (which uses ogre-1.9) it crashes
because the GL rendering system in ogre-1.9 assumes that drivers support
EXT_geometry_shader4 as well when they support OpenGL 3.2. With the
extension it is necessary to call glProgramParameteriEXT but with

Just got 1.75-1 version from jammy-proposed. After a reboot, all the
previous errors reported above are now gone.

Hm, I am not an expert in this -proposed thing...
I am currently using an Ubuntu 20.04 and added these lines to
/etc/apt/source.list:

Ubuntu MATE 22.04 onwards use the Metacity theme from upstream Yaru,
which I maintain.
I have tried reproducing this issue and can only do so in one scenario:
- In the Live Session while using the nouveau driver for NVIDIA GPUs.

On a fresh AWS instance I already see it stalling on package install, I

(Tried KVM and EC2) by just running:

^^ This will stall while one would assume it should quick-exit due to
the ConditionVirtualization not being met.
