[Bug 1772430]
Dear bugzilla, To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today, LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed bugs which have not been touched for over a year. There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in getting confirmation that the bug is still present. If you have time, please do the following: Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/ If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help - About LibreOffice. Please DO NOT Update the version field Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker) Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular meaning that is not appropriate in this case) If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a REGRESSION. To do so: 1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/ 2. Test your bug 3. Leave a comment with your results. 4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo'; 4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword Feel free to come ask questions or to say hello in our QA chat: https://web.libera.chat/?settings=#libreoffice-qa Thank you for helping us make LibreOffice even better for everyone! [Bug 2039206] Re: open-vm-tools "hwclock" needed for VM guest customization not available
> If you wish to undertake "Guest Customization" reliably then you must > interact correctly with the interfaces provided by the guest OS. These will > of course change from release to release of the guest OS, so in general it is > always necessary to adapt interactions as required by new guest OS releases. > Therefore your customers should not expect any new guest OS release to > function correctly with your Guest Customization feature prior to receiving > such an update from you. > It sounds like this problem will go away as soon as you release your fixed > vSphere update? Yes,this is reason we always test "Guest Customization" on new guest os daily/beta build before it's released to catch such failure due to guest os change. If the fix is on vSphere side, customer will have to wait for the next vSphere release which contains the fix and must upgrade to it to get the fix. While if guest side(at least in guest os GA build) can fix it, customer will not encounter the failure at all. [Bug 2061344] [NEW] Issues with GNOME Display Settings in Ubuntu 24.04 beta
Public bug reported: Two issues with GNOME Display Settings since upgrading to Ubuntu 24.04 beta 1 - I am unable to select Fractional Scaling and set it to 150%. The Fractional Scaling checkbox appears to do nothing - 1) selecting it does not enable the Apply button 2) does not update the list of supported scaling factors to include fractional values. 2 - There is a ghost display I have one display plugged into a NVDIA 4080, using proprietary driver. There is a ghost "Unknown Display" in Display Settings at resolution 1024x768. I have a fairly recent Debian VM locally - I tried reproducing the problem there but had no luck, it always starts fine and runs fine. Tried running it under valgrind too just in case, but again nothing. We also don't see this issue on Fedora, CentOS or RHEL and SuSE are also not reporting this. Since (I think) all Debian versions are fine (can we confirm?) it might be a Ubuntu-specific issue. Are there patches or some global compiler option(s) unique to Ubuntu versions where this is failing? Otherwise, I'm fresh out of ideas. I can't really justify time chasing this any further - I think we'll need some assistance from Ubuntu folk to help us gain additional insights. cheers. -- Nathan -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2060275 Title: pmproxy crash at startup in libpcp_web.so.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcp/+bug/2060275/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 2060193] Re: iwlwifi microcode crash when using wrong password to join a WPA3 access point
It's not only when using wrong password. Even if a password is good and the network is connected hardware restart is requested. When this error appears packets are dropped and the network speed slows down. As a workaround you can add options iwlwifi 11n_disable=1 to /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf file. This slows network to 54MBit/s but it is stable, with no packet drops and hardware reset. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2060193 Title: iwlwifi microcode crash when using wrong password to join a WPA3 access point To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-firmware/+bug/2060193/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
