to one of the wrong registers of tas2781, which can also cause problems.

it. So until I can find a way to repeat it, it's not worth testing other

We (all flavors) were significantly delayed for the completion of the
new installer and slideshow availability and I am only now able to

All the container stack packages are using golang-1.21 because it is
available in all supported releases (we want to keep the same behavior
everywhere). Unfortunately, golang-1.22 is only in Noble. We could move
to golang-1.22 in Noble if Foundations backport golang-1.22 to the other
releases
I've modified /usr/share/themes/Ambiance (recursively), search-replacing
all the "1px" to "10px", and (after logging out and back in) the line at
the desktop's right edge looks about 10px wide.
So we're on the right track.

I can reproduce the problem on two computers, both running fully-updated
24.04 beta.
For me, the bug appears if all of these circumstances are met:
- /org/gnome/desktop/interface/gtk-theme is Ambiance or Radiance
- one of the windows is focused
- the Desktop Icons NG (DING) extension is enabled

Not a duplicate
It's specific to the latest chromium snap update: it worked fine last week.
(using chromium only for specific sites. The firefox-esr PPA is my daily
driver).
Other snaps don't have this

I have run the same MQ HA test on a working(AIX 7.2) and non working(AIX 7.3)
pair of machines with the same Linux NVSv4 Ubuntu 20.04 (kernel updated to
5.4.0-176-generic). I used the same RPC debug trace options as
apport information

I don't know if that was the intend but the description feels a bit
accusatory to me.
To be clear that change is an upstream one. From an Ubuntu Desktop we
would have liked to be able to help getting a solution for flavors but
we got hit as hard as everyone by the archive issues/transitions and
