the bug was due to wrong dependancy or a bug somewhere in dpkg/apt : I
had to upgrade python-central first.
However, apt-get dist-upgrade should have done that for me..

According to http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily/20060923/edgy-alternate-
amd64.list
(the package include list for the AMD64 image) the kernel included is:
/pool/main/l/linux-source-2.6.17/linux-
image-2.6.17-9-generic_2.6.17-9.23_amd64.deb
which to my inexperienced eye, looks like the latest one
Thanks Ben!
Is this already in 2.6.17-9? Or will it be in one of the coming
versions?
Thanks,
Michael

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-menus
Hi
I've bookmarked the trash place with nautilus, since I want it to show
under my places menu, but this doesn't work. Maybe gnome-menu has a
patch to not show the trash in places menu? It does appear in nautilus
places sidebar.
Thanks.

I uploaded gnomebaker 0.6.0-0ubuntu1 to Edgy earlier today. Can you
please check if this bug is still present in the new version?

Are you sure that the issue that you have is not Bug #57923 ?
nope, i do not think so. I can open Firefox by hand and open a https
page. The same issue appears.
