I discussed this with a user, and he says this is more likely due to the
new libxft2 (2.1.10) ignoring the autohint setting by fontconfig.
If that's the case, using the ftstring tool in freetype2-demos should
show same results on two systems, as (I assume) ftstring talks with
libfreetype6

I can confirm this. For some reason we are missing the engine for

I find it unlikely that the machine would have been running out of
memory. The machine showing this behavior has a GiB of memory. Other
software run well after firefox segfault. For example, I could browse
the web with konqueror. I have tried disabling my profile my renaming
~/.mozilla, and that
I have found frequency scaling not to be working on my pentium 4 box
when it did work on the previous Gentoo installation (which
unfortunately I have trashed so I won't be able to tell you which kernel
I was using beyond that it was a 2.6.15 variant).

I use Dapper version !
with local settings of Saudia Arabia
Time format coming with :
1- 24 Hours
2- Linux Time
3- Internet Time
I want to use 12 Hours format for the time .
Example:
In case of time 22:00 I want to format it as 10:00 PM
If I change the location to Egept I can do it. But In

the problem appears to be with the unofficial compiz packages.
recommend closing this bug, and sorry for not finding the duplicate
earlier.

Ok, it seems that video-dvdrip source package was renamed to dvdrip on
debian multimedia. It was intended to sync the dvdrip package in the
beginning, not video-dvdrip.
After syncing this video-dvdrip should probably be deleted from the
archive.
Is a UVF exception still needed for this sync
I'm seeing the same thing in upgrading from dapper to edgy.

This is a known issue in Xorg/XFree86 .. It is indeed a major bug, but I
think that the problem is that it is not possible to map a keyboard key
to 2 characters.. last I checked (2 years ago) it was not possible to do
so.. Now the Big problem is, the keyaboard definition of Arabic in X
