[Bug 59422] Re: Image files not displayed during slide show
As mentionned in my previous comment, I could not update my OpenOffice installation. So I am still stuck with this problem. However, I did some test with a friend and he has a hardware pretty similar to mine but with a different video card (an Intel instead of my ATI Radeon Mobility 9000). On his computer, with the same installation of Ubuntu, the above examples are working! So I suspect that it might come from a bug in the video driver. I am using the open source version of the ATI driver. I will try this week to install the proprietary driver and see if I still have the bug. Huygens ** Description changed: Binary package hint: openoffice.org-impress I am using Ubuntu 6.06 LTS with latest update (so 2.0.2 regarding OpenOffice). [Bug 34550] Re: Wishlist: Quake3 for Ubuntu
i forgot all about this bug =D ok, so currently the quake3-data package works fine for grabbing the data from the cd. (built debians packages under ubuntu dapper edgy) also the ioquake3 package works fine as well. upstream has finally branched into a stable branch and current. i've personally updated the packages i've used from the 1.34 branch (svn 892). it works nicely. (this is still the current 1.34 branch) hopefully this can make it into edgy+1. i'll get around to tidying my packages up (.orig.tar.gz .diff.gz) someday. -- Wishlist: Quake3 for Ubuntu https://launchpad.net/bugs/34550 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 65003] ltsp-build-client exits after debootstrap
Public bug reported: In both Dapper and Edgy the ltsp-build-client script exits immediately after debootstrap has finished. [Bug 64711] Re: Kubuntu 6.06 - startup in graphical root-mode
What exactly is wrong about this behaviour? It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Also, I firmly oppose to the idea of an interactive question. It would not make sense to add questions to all programs in the world when you execute them as root. Therefore I am closing this bug. If you disagree, I reopen it, but the behaviour will most likely not change. Thank you! ** Visibility changed to: Public ** This bug is no longer flagged as a security issue ** Changed in: Ubuntu Sourcepackagename: None = xinit Importance: Undecided = Wishlist Status: Unconfirmed = Rejected -- Kubuntu 6.06 - startup in graphical root-mode https://launchpad.net/bugs/64711 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
