When I try to print only odd or even pages from evince (evince 0.6.1, Edgy Eft)

it was configured to print All sheets.

I'll second this one. I replaced a gentoo server in my DMZ providing
the squid transparent proxy and couldn't figure out why it wasn't
working with my brand new Edgy install. It took me a while to track
down that it was bug in squid and not a configuration error on my part.
Refer to bug #1650 in
The only livecd/install that works is i386 (now this is what i'm using), but
I couldn't get to work any AMD64 edgy livecd, neither RC or final. Before
flashing the bios, edgy RC worked without problems.

I seem to be hitting this bug under Kubuntu 6.10, upgrading from Dapper

I have experienced the same problem on a fresh installation of Edgy on a
Dell Inspiron 9400 laptop (ipw3945 chipset). Running 'sudo gtk-update-
icon-cache -f /usr/share/icons/hicolor/' fixed it.

Plugging a USB headset in and then switching the mixer (either KMix in
KDE or Mixer Applet in GNOME) from the sound card to the USB Headset
results in no sound.
My workaround ended up being tweaking alsamixer and/or restarting the
computer.
