I've just downloaded Opera 9 Beta 2 and double clicking the .deb archive

theme from Human to high Contrast and back. I also have Gtk-Qt Theme
installed (in KDE), and this was selected before, so perhaps this had

The presumed guilty drm modules are part of the linux kernel. The
workaround to disable dri for these cards should be applied to the xorg
configuration scripts.
Depending on the number of affected cards/users (of this bug and not all
the other similar things commented on here), the workaround

an intentional decision by the Xorg team. If the inclusion is causing a
specific problem, then you should file a bug about the problem. Feel

Direct rendering still seems functional though.

This surely is a critical bug to be fixed...!
I wonder why this situation has not changed at all in such a long time.
I use LILO as my bootloader to boot ubuntu, but I would like to see GRUB
working along with JMicron controllers.

UPDATE: SOLVED! (my fault)
I took another flac file, which I converted with soundconverter and
which was not ripped from a CD with using Grip. That _worked_! :)
Than I thought that maybe Grip uses wrong parameters by default, but it
