I don't know which version you are talking about. But current versions create /etc/php5/conf.d/gd.ini which gets included into configuration and older packages got postinst hook to insert those lines into php.ini. Unfortunately the RenderAccell wasn't a solution. The issue keeps coming up, and it's also occurs with other programs than openoffice. This time it froze with firefox. I also noticed that I cannot connect via ssh to the box anymore. Again, no logs show any signs of anything out of order, except for this in xorg log. (WW) NVIDIA(1): WAIT (0, 1, 0x2000, 0x8814, 0x8814, 0) I'm thinking of starting to use the kernel from dapper to get rid of this issue. Dies ist offenbar ein Nautilus- und kein Samba-Problem, denn auf die persönlichen Freigaben kann problemlos zugegriffen werden, wenn diese auf dem Client mit dem korrekten Username und Samba-Passwort gemountet werden.
