[Bug 121951] Adding files to Serpentine doesn't work
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: serpentine I tried adding files three ways: 1. By clicking on the + Add toolbar icon. This brings up a file chooser dialog which I used to select the MP3s I want to burn to a CD. Clicking Open didn't result in any change. In fact, after that the dialog is frozen and can only be closed by clicking the title bar X button. 2. By using the Edit-Add menu item. The result were identical to #1. 3. By dragging and dropping the files I wanted onto the Serpentine track listing area. This caused the pointer to change to an arrow-with-a-plus-symbol that led me to believe the operation should work; however, it didn't result in any noticeable change in the application. I tried doing the same procedures one file-at-a-time and also with FLACs as well as MP3s. It looks like this bug makes Serpentine unusable. :( I'm running an up-to-date (x86) gutsy install. ** Affects: serpentine (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - Adding files to Serpentine doesn't work + Adding files in Serpentine doesn't work -- Adding files in Serpentine doesn't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/121951 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 121472] Re: On some website dropdown flash menus covers the entire area below the menus with a white box.
I can confirm this, I actually visited the same webpage and had the exact look as the reporters' screenshot. I'm on Gutsy, and was using Opera 9.21 . Build 641 for Linux, a list of currently installed plugins is attached (Flash is 9). Given the fact it's between the two browsers, I'm sure that the flash assignment is the best route to go. [Bug 118745] Re: default desktop/panel menu font sizes too small
On my system (13 inch MacBook - dual-boot installed w/Boot Camp), this appears to detect the DPI correctly. as being 112 dpi. However, the resulting fonts, when using my display's native 1280x800 resolution, are huge. I think the issue may not necessarily be the wrong DPI being detected - it's that the font is a bad size with the right DPI selected! In the meantime, I've reverted to the Feisty settings (96 dpi, 10 pt font in Gnome), and everything looks normal again. -- default desktop/panel menu font sizes too small https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/118745 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 49127] Re: Long file names are truncated without warning
Do you still experience the same problem in gutsy? If I remember correctly what I did in libisofs is that the truncating algorithm starts by truncating extension, but keeps minimum of 3 chars, and then moves to the name.
