forums are coming up with thousands of un-answered problem threads.

I've now assigned this to gnome-desktop as it sounds like blender isn't
doing anything wrong. If that's the case then I suppose that Ubuntu
needs to fix the configuration the gnome-desktop so the Ubuntu default
(firefox) is always the system default.

menu is to move the cursor to the top of the screen and the menu will
appear. Without Desktop

mode that way.

gstreamer0.10-package installed, this is just weird.
First of all I re-symlinkes /dev/dvd to point to /dev/scd0 instead of
/dev/scd1.

Just installed this, and it broke my working lirc install.
I selected Linux input layer (/dev/input/eventX), and /etc/lirc/hardware.conf
was rewritten with DRIVER=.
It was DRIVER=dev/input before upgrading.
/usr/share/doc/lirc/lirc.hwdb contains:
Linux input layer
