Oh, just had an idea, and added it. Now, ltsp-update-image checks for a
mounted /proc in the chroot, and if it's there, exits. Should prevent
this sort of thing from happening unexpectedly in the future.

I choose the option to check the CD for errors in the boot loader menu. Instead
it boots into the graphical desktop. No checking is performed on the CD.

i have the same issues, but adding mount applet to the gnome-panel doesn't
help. The USB devices are recognised by hal, but aren't automounted, if i mount
it maualy with pmount-hal /dev/device or partition it mounts as it should.
I should state that the same devices worked in feisty.

Yeah I noticed this... I can confirm that it partially works : as I
don't have a dv camera, I could only test that the read from file mode
works, that you can set the number of frames, the delays... But I can't
test the dv interface. However, it's said to work better than in 1.8.

The debdiff posted in bug #131368 by CHris Rogers works for me, it
allowed me to generate a working linux-ubuntu-modules. I vote for
marking this bug as duplicate of that one.
What I did:
