Confirmed. I thought it was my imagination but since an update about a
week ago (so, around 20th September 2007) gnome-power-manager doesn't
hibernate the PC when battery level gets to critical. This had been
working fine up to then and was in regular use.

A little bit more info here. With the 3stack option set, I get this in
the dmesg output when I grep for hda:

There should be an option in preferences to specify a preferred startup

On my XPS M1330 I can't increase nor decrease brightness with the FN
keys since an update to kernel-2.6.22-12-generic. When I boot
kernel-2.6.22-10 all is working fine.
