mouse freezes up. I then have to completly shut down the computer in

I can confirm both the bug and Ari's workaround. However, the workaround
is not persistent: after logging out or rebooting, the manually set
screen corner no longer works. The show_desktop_edge value in
/apps/compiz/general/allscreens/options/ is still there though, but

For some time now I have had a stuck package in Update Manager. It
started in 7.04, thought 7.10 might fix it, but it just won't go away.
Most of the time it is greyed out on the list, but even when I tick it
is held back
The package is USBMGR (update from version 1.0.0-4
This bug is the same as #149205 and #111507. In #149205 Martin Emrich
has a temporary solution.
I have the same problem. I can add, that if I choose the Save in
keyring option upon connecting to vpn, next time I try it will first
prompt me two times for my keyring password, before requesting vpn-
