Hi, I have a T60p, wonderful machine, running a great OS, Gusty. But I
followed all the helps, fixes etc and have come to the conclusion it's still
broke.
I've upgraded from 8.37 to 8.44 and the resolution goes to 1280x1024(crappy),

Is your touchpad a synaptic one? If it's the case there is a wrong
configuration in your xorg.conf file. Try replacing that with this:

Binary package hint: nautilus
Open a MPG file over the network with Nautilus like
smb://athlon-xp-2500/MPEG-Videos/VIVA_So_0900-1200_001.mpg. The association
to a program is SMPlayer but Nautilus open with KMPlayer.
I have change the association to gxine, KMPlayer, MPlayer

A fix for this has been in bzr for a while, but nobody has bothered to
upload a new revision of the pacakge. Doing that now.

Switch to a terminal (CTRL+ALT+F1) and run the following commands :
fuser /dev/snd/*
This command should something like that :
/dev/snd/controlC0:
Then type :
kill
cat /proc/modules|cut -f1 -d |grep snd|xargs sudo rmmod
lsmod|grep snd

Ignore my above comment about intelfb and hibernate. Intelfb hibernates
fine. The hibernate issue was unrelated to intelfb. Sorry for the noise.
