Can you paste the resolutions supported by Xorg with 'intel' driver by
running xrandr in some terminal. You can also try switching to your
desired resolution using xrandr. e.g. to switch to 1024x768 @ 75 Hz

[HARDY] X crashes with 915GM/GMS/910GML (104d:81b8)
The update I saw yesterday in update-manager (9.0.124.ubuntu2) really
increased stability for me.
Without the nspluginwrapper, opening the first 10 YouTube movies (on the front
page) in separate tabs seems to work 9 out of 10 times I try it.
When it fails, it will take down the browser with it.
Public bug reported:
On my system bluetooth and wifi are unusable together. I have a built-in
CSR-based bluetooth module in my laptop, and an Atheros wifi. Wifi
transfers slow to a halt whenever there is BT traffic.
For example, if I play a music file from another machine through the
network
I have tried this with both 7.10 and 8.04. While the BT subsystem is a
lot nicer in 8.04, I have the same issue. Would upgrading to the latest
bluez-libs (3.30 vs 3.26 in hardy) help?

I just found a workaround for the ones not wanting to use ndiswrapper:
get http://linuxwireless.org/download/compat-wireless-2.6/compat-

compile an own kernel to get the b43 module working.
The disadvantage is you have to do a

I just installed Hardy with the new Kernel and i have now the same
problem. On Gutsy the fan at least was running (although permanent), but
i could integrate a script to control the fan. Now not even this
works...

I just wanted to add that I also use Hardy on a AMD64 computer (HP

Is everybody using AMD64 or are there also problems with i386?
