do not think that these two bugs can be classified now as invalid.

I also have the BCM4328 (Rev 03) chipset. It is not detected by the
default Hardy 8.04 install, as advertised.
Likewise I have had some success with the ndiswrapper. I have a Dell
Inspiron 1721, and am using an XP driver that I found on their website.
