@Andres: Yes, I seem to remember it was the chosen behavior. Fail to
start VPN needing user interaction rather than blocking the boot with a
console prompt. Ideally, you would replicate the exact same
configuration in a Jaunty environment and check the behavior there, and
just doublecheck there is

Hi, same problem here.
I was using ubuntu 8.04 desktop with HP Proliant Ml115 which uses Matrox G200
for vga, and 1280x1024 LCD monitor.
Everything worked perfectly on 8.04 but after upgrading to 8.10 with
update-manager -d and reboot, display resolution droped to 1024x768. Then I

I have just noticed that more header files are missing than those
outlined originally. It seems all headers falling under /usr/src/linux-

This is annoying - it didn't work properly and there seems no way to

I connected an external monitor to my laptop and whenever I try to
maximize flash videos to full screen it is always displayed at the first
(laptop) monitor instead of the external monitor. Also most of the times
video is not full screen either.
These are the system
I have _one_ idea that could explain it's gone, but I dont assume
anything: when on an old working install, you install the 2.6.28 being
running the old kernel. This runs initramfs on the old curent one.
When trying to boot on the new one, it brakes.
Then, after booting with the workaround, and
I re-compiled the latest 1.0.12 version and it now works correctly. So
all it needs is a new package. Please provide one.
