I can also confirm this. Running evolution --force-shutdown after crash
helps to recover. IIRC there is a bug similar to this for Ubuntu 9.04
and Evolution 2.26 with same kind of symptoms. Couldn't find it now but
one workaround was to disable SMB by removing/renaming /etc/smb.conf but
that didn't
I forgot to mention that everything was fine before upgrading to karmic (at
least for flash videos, I did not use the hibernate feature at that time).
The flash video does not necessarily have to be in fullscreen mode. And it
works for a few minutes before freezing the system.

I am having the same issue with a Dell Mini 10 (Model 1011), Atom N230
and GMA 945. I successfully, and without any effort, had Compiz enabled
while driving both the LVDS at 1024x576 and the VGA at 1024x768 ri

way around the freezing behaviour is to turn off compiz before you open
up the display properties box. Alt+F2 and

To convert in DV format with mencoder, mencoder should be compiled with libdv

I tried to sort a few rows (by marking the data) in a datasheet of
oocalc. When the rows and columns are marked and command is given to
sort by any 2 columns, oocalc works better but not absolutely correctly
when the sorting order for the 2
