Thank you for your bug report, however, it is invalid: This green line is the OK line - any values above it will trigger a warning, i.e. if some disk is 92% full, munin will consider this to be not OK any more. I do not know if this can be turned off, you would have to look in the documentation or request this to be configurable. [Bug 587418] [NEW] akonadi crashes on mysql problem
Public bug reported: Migrated from last to current stable Kubuntu version. Kmail crashes when starting, or freezes. I did some testing to isolate the problem and found some info which might be useful. 1) Kmail crashes because akonadi crashes during init. Attached the log. It seems to be a mysql problem, dragging akonadi down with it. 2) Mysql works fine for other applications. 3) For akonadi the bin /usr/sbin/mysqld-akonadi is used. If I try starting akonadi, I see multiple processes trying to start this mysql bin. One prevents the other to start succesfully, as you can see in the attached log, test 4. Each bin adds a repeated block of error lines to mysql.err, in the attachment I cut away most of the the repeated blocks. 4) I logged in as another Linux user. Kmail was not used in this account yet. Akonadi starts normally in this account. Then I copied the whole dir /home/nico/.kde/share/apps/kmail and the files /home/nico/.kde/share/config/kmail* /home/nico/.kde/share/config/mail* /home/nico/.kde/share/config/email* Then restarted Akonadi and started kmail without any problem. So, for this new user account all remains working fine, it seems files or settings in /home/nico are causing this error. Deleting the dir /home/nico/.local/share/akonadi has no effect, the dir is recreated and I still have the error. Did a search on all akonadi files in my home dir: ./.local/share/akonadi/akonadiserver.socket ./.local/share/akonadi/akonadiserver.error.old ./.kde/share/config/akonadi-firstrunrc ./.config/akonadi/ some files here, but they are recreated and therefore fresh I cannot find the difference, why in one account kmail / akonadi works fine, while in the other / my account I get crashes. I am still unable to confirm this bug in my own testing. Can you try making it into a step-by-step way to make the crash, starting with a fresh document, in a format like: 1. Write in dummy text 2. Apply Wipe down slide transition 3.. etc... It should be reproducable for you with the same steps everytime, otherwise we are missing something. Feel free to make it long, but with specific step by step instructions, I will try to shorten it up to make the bug easier to debug. [Bug 587421] [NEW] XFCE Volume Control panel plugin icon is not updated
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xfce4-mixer I use xubuntu 10.04 with most recent updates on Acer Aspire One AOD250. I use hot keys to adjust sound volume (Fn+Down or Up). Volume is changed properly, but volume control plugin for XFCE panel is not updated (the icon still shows the old sound volume). When I enter xfce4-mixer itself, it is updated and shows the proper volume with its sliders. When I scroll the sliders and close the window, the mixer icon is not updated, too. When I enter the mixer plugin properties and hit Close, the icon is updated. I'm with Sog et al. Random freezes of the GUI, unable to switch to other consoles (via ctrl+alt+Fnx). I'm running Lucid but I believe these freezes only started happening the last 1-2 weeks. Happens to me also. This makes it impossible for me to use my external monitor. I am assuming that this is the same bug because I get the original symptom: my LG246WP identifies as a Goldstar Ltd. 24 screen, with an incorrect list of resolutions. I am able to use 1024x768 (and certain other 4:3 resolutions) for a minute or so, then the monitor fails with Invalid Format message. Other resolutions fail immediately. Incidentally, is there a work-around for this?
