You should maybe open a new bug and close this one as the problem doesn't seem
to be exactly the same : mine was that mysql was not able to stop, yours is

I can confirm that the issue is still in Maverick. I've added a

If one tries to use libvirt vms with a NATed network, libvirtd will
insert iptables rules before the earliest ufw rules (ufw-before-forward)
in the FORWARD chain, and so breaks ufw semantics.

Actually, http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=44522 is concerned with

An update... I've discovered that the cas.ucdavis.edu machine does not
correctly deal with fragmented IP packets. I thought this might be the
problem but then I went looking for those types of packets and found
none (I'll still try to get that fixed though).

Hi, thanks for the messages.
I'm downloading the latest build (10.10) and will re-install with that
today when I get the chance.
Currently the computer only very occasionally boots successfully so
running anything from the terminal is going to be difficult.
I'll update again later.

@Miro: Intrepid isn't any more supported. Anyway, this bug is fixed for
the nvidia 96 series. The Tnt2 is part of the older 71 driver which does
not support the new xservers (Jaunty and higher) but this bug report
isn't about xserver support (and don't open a bug about xserver's
compatibility,
I'm also getting this error message. I don't understand this thread
though. Is there some layman explanation of whats wrong -- or perhaps if
there's anything to fix?
